- I started skating around 95, stopped playing soccer after 10 yrs due to heel injury, decided what better way to put my heel through more pain but to start rollerblading, I remember being stiff as a board & being hassled by my mates, i just wanted to go over the Launch ramp, that was my aim, then i started learning more tricks, bought my first aggressive skates Roces Majestic 12's & it went from there, my love for the sport took over, i was lucky i was sponsored by a local skating rink (Skate park inside, Funbox, 7m 5 ft Quarter, Vert, 4ft Quarters) so i skated everyday, & worked in the rink, i loved it, started really learning tricks, all was to change in 01-02, i met my now wife & we had our daughter Laila in 03, thats when i stopped skating, so now i am starting again, & loving it!

Replied to the So What's Your Favourite Grind?I would say i love doing nice long, low Royale's (Shifty as we call them) but i also love doing a nice controlled Backslide, they feel so good when you land spot on and get the grab, Rocket Backslides used to be my favorite back in the day, but just haven't got the strength in my legs like i used too, lol

So i am looking at some new wrist guards, years ago i used Triple 8 Hired Hands & also had a pair of the Pawn wrist guards, i am looking at getting Triple 8 Hired Hands again, anybody got any objections or suggestions?

Awesome weekend, great skate sessions, improving my ways, landed some really good tricks, trying some new ones also, really loving getting back into it, i have missed it so much and regret it, Rollerblading means so much to me, i may be old but i am so glad i have found it again, keen to try more and more now,
